This month, Cuddy Insurance Agency, located in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, is celebrating its 98th Anniversary of serving the community. The business opened its doors in 1923 and has been owned and operated by three generations of the Cuddy family. It is the only remaining family owned and operated agency in the area.
Current owner, Betsy Cuddy, has served as the president of the company since 1986. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Co. and now has over 30 years of experience in both personal and business insurance. Betsy Cuddy is also a trustee of the North Brookfield Savings Bank.
The agency offers coverages for auto, home, life, and business insurance needs using a broad range of companies. It also offers umbrella insurance, bonding and notary services. Other current employees of the Cuddy agency are Heidi Hunderup, Tony Martinelli, (Betsy’s youngest son) and Kayla Hunderup. Combined, the staff of Cuddy Insurance has over 90 years of experience! .
